I'm Maayan,
nice to meet you.

I’m a UX/UI designer with a B.A. in Interaction Design from CODE University of Applied Sciences in Berlin.

Over the last few years, I’ve designed across different settings:

  • Bitcoin trading platform (B2B2C) at Qeratech, where I designed dashboards for both clients to track their investments and managers to monitor trading activity.

  • Enterprise platforms (B2B/B2B2C) at Phenom, where I worked on video-related features and helped restructure the design system.

  • Consumer e-commerce with SensiblePi, leading the design of a Shopify site from concept to launch.

  • Academic work as a teaching assistant, supporting courses in Screen Design, Navigation, and Brand Design.

What connects it all is my curiosity for simplifying complexity and my genuine love for working with people. I’m calm, approachable, and collaborative by nature - which means I enjoy the process just as much as the outcome.

My process and principles

Whether I’m designing a dashboard for crypto traders or a mobile app to help students overcome procrastination, I aim for solutions that feel familiar, even if it’s the user’s first time using them.

As a freelancer, I’ve learned to balance speed with depth -understanding both client and user needs to prioritize what matters most.

I’m not just pixel-focused - I think holistically about goals, edge cases, growth, and the systems behind the screen.

What I’m curious about

I’m especially drawn to the challenge of simplifying complex systems - the kind that feel like riddles until you find the logic.

I love digging into the chaos, spotting patterns, and designing structures that feel effortless to use.

Outside of work, I’m probably experimenting in the kitchen, getting lost in a DIY project, or planning my next trip.

How I got started in design

I entered this field not from a love of tech, but from a love of people, clarity, and visual logic.

I’ve always processed information better visually - organizing and simplifying it into charts or sketches so it makes more sense.

That instinct naturally led me to design and still continues to guide me today: helping others make sense of what’s in front of them.
